In 2023, The Bright Professor YouTube channel was created. I have used this channel to provide positive workplace advice and encouragement to those employed in hostile academic workplaces, leveraging my experience as a College Professor for over 20 years. As I rose through the ranks from Assistant, Associate, and is now a Full Professor, I have experienced some very difficult challenges in academia. I am using the YouTube channel to explore how I navigated the challenges to encourage others to address those they face carefully, constructively, and strategically.
My channel covers many important topics in higher education workplaces. Each episode peel back the hidden truths and help resolve the fear of addressing the tough problems. The topics and episodes covered in the channel can be used as case studies to support graduate courses on human resource management, higher education, ethics, and leadership.
